This afternoon in support of National Move Your Money Day protesters from the Occupy Bristol camp moved on from their last action in Clifton and took the campaign to the city centre. Wearing Guy Fawkes masks they took signs and flyers with slogans such as “Its a robbery, the bankers are stealing from you” and “no money, no bonuses” to branches of Lloyds, Barclays and Natwest, entertaining shoppers as they went.
One protester said “some people were confused, other people thought it was funny but everyone was interested and wanted to know what we’re doing which is really good, there’s definitely a growing interest in our Move Your Money campaign”
